It’s a drug that
seems to have been around forever but it’s actually since the mid-1900s. We’re
talking about penicillin. Penicillin is a very effective antibiotic that’s
still used in many cases, however, it’s usually a variant form of penicillin. It
is an antibiotic, though, that does have some allergic reactions to it. Many
people will tell doctors that penicillin is one of their allergies and that
means doctors have to be very careful about drugs that are similar to it.
